The Left Eye

One day several years ago, as usual, I was running late for class. It may not happen to everyone, but I still have a habit of leaving home in a rush, with my backpack open and my belt only halfway fastened. As soon as I reached the bus stop, I realized there was a terrible traffic jam and that the buses were completely at a standstill. But there was no helping it—I was already late, and I had to get on the first one that came by.
