Sponsor Over Spouse
What I'm about to propose might make many of you uncomfortable, but given my humiliating situation, I don’t have much of a choice.
How about we create a foundation where fifty-something old folks sponsor the college education of twentysomethings? One where men and women can give something meaningful back to society, simply in exchange for affection and company from the beneficiaries. After all, this has been happening informally throughout history—so why not make it official?
